Parents play a vital role in achieving the educational vision of Cambridge. We have a very active Parent Fellowship that serves to support the administration, faculty and student body in coordinating various social and school events. Moms in Prayer meet weekly to pray for the needs of our school community. Parent socials are organized to encourage parents to build new relationships with the rest of the school community.

Cambridge offers need-based financial aid. It is available, within the limits of the school’s financial aid resources, to families who have demonstrated a need for financial assistance to meet the cost of our educational program. Financial aid is applied for and awarded each year. Cambridge does not offer academic or athletic scholarships.

Yes, Cambridge is accredited and is a member in good standing of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Yes. A full-time College Placement Director is available to offer individual attention to Upper School students and their parents starting in their freshman year. As a small school that offers individual attention, Cambridge enables its students to engage in discussions with the College Placement Director and faculty in making informed decisions about college placement. The School offers a college trip in the fall to visit various colleges and universities in a given region of the country. Students also participate in school-sponsored college placement seminars and local college fairs and have the chance to meet with many college representatives when they visit Cambridge every fall.

We offer soccer, basketball, crew, cross country, golf, tennis, track, and volleyball. Currently, we are in TAPPS 2A. Our athletic teams have been extremely successful in various district, state, regional, and national level competitions.

On average, most of our graduates take anywhere from 5 to 8 AP courses during their high school career, preparing them to be ready for some of the most competitive colleges in the nation. AP courses in Math (Calculus), Science (biology and physics), Latin (Vergil), French, Spanish, and Art (drawing, 2-D, 3-D design) are offered as electives, based on student interest and enrollment.

Cambridge has been blessed and honored to have received a great deal of recognition for its efforts in education. In the last 8 years, the school has produced 28 AP National Scholars, 70 AP Scholars with Distinction, 26 AP Scholars with Honor, 72 AP Scholars, 17 National Merit Finalists (1 Semifinalist), 24 National Merit Commendations, 4 National Hispanic Recognitions, and 2 National Merit Achievement Recognitions. There have been 300 graduates from Cambridge and they have gone to over 95 colleges and universities across the nation.

The Cambridge curriculum incorporates a systematic study of the Old and New Testaments, Church History, Systematic Theology, Spiritual Formation and Apologetics. A weekly chapel service attended by students, faculty, and administration is an integral part of life at Cambridge. In addition, our faculty and student leaders are actively engaged in mentoring students in and out of the classroom through personal relationships. The students and faculty participate in a school-wide fall retreat to deepen their walk with Christ and strengthen their relationship to one another.

The 2019-2020 student body at Cambridge is comprised of 67% Caucasian and 33% minority and International students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

The average class size at Cambridge is about 12 students, but generally no more than 15 students. The student-to-faculty ratio is 6:1.

The Cambridge faculty consists of teachers who truly seek to disciple, equip, and train the students by expanding their minds and molding their character. The majority of our full-time faculty have advanced degrees in the subject(s) they teach. Some have several years of experience teaching at the college level. At Cambridge, the student body is integrated across the grades so that meaningful relationships develop between classmen in the Upper School and Middle School. We seek to be a community of faculty, students and parents all working toward the same educational and spiritual goals. Cambridge offers every student the opportunity to play sports in a competitive environment that promotes physical fitness and builds life skills such as self-discipline, goal setting, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With school approval, students can receive credit for outside athletic activities.

The typical Cambridge student is someone who wants to be counter-cultural in his or her approach to school and wants more out of school than what is commonly experienced by many of his or her peers. The Cambridge student is eager to learn and wants to be passionate about truth in order to develop an educated mind. The majority of our students live within 20-30 minutes of school.
