Jocelyn Segoviano & Praxis
8/15/18
Jocelyn Segoviano, a junior and Prefect, reflects upon one of her summer Praxis practices.
“This week I got to meditate on the importance of God’s creatures. Zoey, Charlie, Muffin, and Rocky were some of the few dogs that I enjoyed spending time with. These beautiful creatures helped me realize how pure and innocent their heart is. Even when I mess up, they still choose to love me. Thanks to them, I’ve learned that God puts his creatures in our lives for a reason; they teach us how to be patient, loving, and kind. A bible verse that helped me meditate on this was Job 12: 7-10 which says, ‘for ask the animals and they will teach you…in His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.’”
