Matt Lewis has been a professor of theology, science, and mathematics at the Cambridge School of Dallas since 2019. He studied biology, chemistry, and spanish at the University of North Texas with an emphasis on microbiology. He also earned a Master of Divinity from Redeemer Seminary in 2016. He particularly enjoyed studying the early church fathers and Old Testament theology. Matt and his wife Cassie were high school sweethearts who both attended the University of North Texas and were married in 2003. After graduating they worked as missionaries in Florence, Italy. The Lewises have four beautiful children, Willa (11), Hollis (9), Cormac (5), and Maren (2) and they worship at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in East Dallas. Matt loves to read science fiction and fantasy, eat delicious food, drink coffee, and play with his kids.
